Our Fun Space

  • What can we say, It's a Fantastic space! Our back yard measures: 45 feet by 123 feet at Kaye's House.
  • We have Lots of space to run and play in!  The entire yard is fenced in. and includes a Swing set area, fort with a slide and we have a large sandbox.  We have a child size picnic table, a child size bench, and child size table and chairs in the clubhouse in the bottom part of the fort. Our yard also holds 2 basketball hoops and a shed filled with 32 balls, (yes, we counted them) hula hoops, riding toys, sprinklers, and many other child friendly toys to have fun with outside..

Our Fun Swing Set Area

  • What can we say, It's Lots of FUN! Our swing set space measures: 35 feet by 14 feet(the wood chips are 3 to 5 inches deep).
  • The Swing Set area includes three children's swings, and one infant swing. There are also six monkey bars, and rings for gymnastics. When the children get tired of swinging they can rest on the child size picnic table or the child size bench(not pictured).

Our Fort

  • What can we say, for a Fortastic time this is the place to be! Our fort measures: 8 feet by 8 feet wide and is 16 feet tall, and  has two levels.
  • The forts bottom level has a table and four chairs along with a grill and food to promote culinary imaginations. The stairs are standard stairs 4 feet wide with a railing on each side for the children to go up and slide down the slide. We also have two chairs at the top so the children can rest from running up and sliding down. At the bottom of the slide is wood chips(3inches deep). We have a large sandbox (measures 4 feet by 8 feet) for many children to play in comfortably.

Grass is Good

  • This is a great picture of the grassy area of the yard for the kids to run and play. The grassy area measures: 45 feet by 123 feet.
  • We have Two parks within walking distance. one is a baseball park that is a block away. It has plenty of room for the children to run and fly kites. The other is a block and a half from our house and it has nice paths to walk around the pond, a jungle gym set(with three slides), swings, and a wading pool.
  • We did have a swimming pool. It has been removed.

Our Sheds

  • Our yard also holds two basketball hoops, child sized, and two sheds filled with 32 balls, (yes, we counted them) hula hoops, riding toys, sprinklers, and many other child friendly toys to have fun with outside..

In All Seasons

  • Winter: We Love to build a snow sledding hill, forts, and snowmen in the winter, and lets just say, trying to walk in the snow with snow suits and boots is always interesting.
  • Spring: We watch the snow melt, see the grass turn green, view the new leaves on the trees, and watch the flowers bloom while we ride bikes and play games.
  • Summer: We enjoy the sunshine, and all that Summer has to offer it makes for an enjoyable time, any time of day. It's so much fun to draw with sidewalk paints, learn to ride a bike, build cities in the sandbox, get wet in the sprinkler, play catch, baseball, tennis, soccer, and basketball with the many balls we have.  We always enjoy a nice breeze while we read books on the lush green grass, we have fun in the garden watching the flowers bloom with pretty flowers and the plants grow cucumbers, carrots and tomatoes so we can eat them.
  • Fall: We have fun in the cool weather seeing the leaves change colors as we play in the yard. We take time to pick up some great leaves and use them for projects and of course, what would the fall be without raking them into a Huge pile and jumping in them, or laying on top of them and imagining what shapes we can see in the clouds.
